SYDNEY Lord Mayor Clover Moore may have been feeling a bit nostalgic when she spoke a little French to backpackers at the recently opened Kings Cross car market last week.
And it’s all smiles from the operator of the market, a little confused and inhabitants of backpackers Victoria St are on hand to see the tourists were eventually established camps far from their path.
Signs prohibiting the sale of the vehicle is put up along Victoria St over the weekend, with Sydney Council rangers plan to begin enforcing their rule from next Monday.
